Senior Project Manager

San Francisco, Seattle

Formation is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation and ongoing operations of our platform and to delivery on the key dimensions of Customer Success. Our platform learns and adapts to people's preferences, habits, and feedback - orchestrating highly relevant experiences that are truly unique to each person.

In this role, you will have high autonomy and will act as the functional and subject matter expert in your field. You demonstrate exceptional project leadership experience and flexibility, as well as the ability to build solid relationships with clients, team members, and senior leadership. You are able to deftly apply skills and multiple methodologies to design excellent solutions, manage team delivery, proactively mitigate risks, resolve issues, and escalate when appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of Formation solutions, from early solution visioning, through development, to delivery and handoff
  • Create, manage, and execute a thorough project plan, and other associated project management artifacts and tools, to effectively manage projects
  • Show flexibility in approach to successfully follow different methodologies
  • Mentor clients, work on projects independently, participate as a team member, and lead team members and/or clients to successful project dleivery
  • Identify potential risks and issues, anticipate points of resistance, and develop speciifc plans to mitigate or address concerns
  • Attend and lead meetings; providfe project status reporting to the client and internal stakeholders
  • Work with technical and business stakeholders to understand succcess criteria and relate Formation capabilities to devise transformative solutions
  • Gather, prioritize, and communicate customer feature requests and feedback to the product and engineering teams

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience delivering complex and very technical projects in a client setting
  • Experience working with and advising cross-functional (business and technical) customer teams
  • Skilled at defining and documenting business and functional requirements and working in an ambiguous and changing environment
  • Strong investigative, analytical and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Able to proactively identify risks, and drive action to mitigate and resolve issues
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage a vast array of information
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with audiences of all levels
  • Able to add new perspective to team dynamics and inspire others around you
  • Experience working with marketing technologies preferred, but not required
