Senior Product Solutions Manager

Formation is seeking a Senior Product Solutions Manager to help enterprise customers design unique end-user experiences and derive the most value from our platform. Formation’s product learns and adapts to people's preferences, habits, and feedback—orchestrating highly relevant experiences that are truly unique to each person. As a Product Solutions Manager, you'll be the technical product solution owner for one or more of our enterprise customers. You’ll help define use cases, demonstrate prioritization mastery, and coordinate development with internal functions such as Engineering, Data Science, Design, Customer Success, and Business Operations. Ultimately, you care deeply about creating highly engaging, innovative experiences that meets and exceeds our customer’s business goals. This role will require occasional travel to customer locations.

This is a unique opportunity to grow into a Product Solutions Director and lead a specific industry vertical, move into Product Management, or join Customer Success as a Strategic Account Manager to own strategy, growth and advisory for a Fortune 500 customer.

The Customer Solutions team at Formation consists of Success, Service and Support. We act as partners to our customers by understanding their business challenges and collaborating closely to derive the most value out of our product while delivering a high quality customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customer to understand current state, challenges, and trends. Be an active listener and co-collaborator.
  • Co-create product use cases and new feature roadmap with the customer, balancing internal product roadmap/vision with customer needs
  • Own product use case and feature development from initial ideation through go-to-market launch
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal teams to ensure that customer’s needs are reflected in future releases and plans, including partnering with Product Managers and Technical Project Managers to design and deliver
  • Contribute to a cross-functional team (data science, analytics, engineering, design, QA, customer success) that owns multiple aspects of the product and customer experience
  • Support implementation and on-going deployment activities

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, solutions engineering or management / IT consulting. Experience working with enterprise customers strongly preferred.
  • Empathetic to customer and end-user needs, with the ability to translate those needs into product solutions
  • Experience navigating business, customer experience, and technical tradeoffs in application and/or platform development
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to build trust, influence, and negotiate with both internal and customer stakeholders across teams and levels
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Familiarity with statistics and analytics
  • Technical background in computer science or related engineering field
  • Experience with products leveraging machine learning and/or data science big plus!
