Formation is seeking a Marketing Designer with a strong understanding of brand systems, visual design, and business strategy to help us concept and create compelling visual materials for use across channels and touchpoints. This person should know how to capture and keep attention and communicate brand and product values in a compelling, visually stunning fashion.
The Marketing Designer will have ownership of a wide range of projects—from simple email headers to complex videos, from light-hearted gifs to hard-hitting presentations. As such, this person should have mastery of various design tools and experience working in a wide range of formats and mediums. The Marketing Designer will also be responsible for managing freelance designers and presentation specialists. S/he will need to partner with senior leaders in Design, Marketing, Product, and Sales to come up with visual solutions that move the needle.
We move fast, so the Marketing Designer will need exceptional organizational and time management skills, as well as flexibility and a can-do attitude. We think big, so the Marketing Designer will need to be able to think outside the box and be ready to take the road less traveled. We love analysis, so the Marketing Designer will need to be able to be thoughtful and results-oriented in their decision-making and must always keep their eye on the prize.
