Marketing Copywriter

Formation is seeking a Copywriter with enterprise marketing or marketing technology background to help articulate our vision to the world. We use artificial intelligence and machine learning to create hyper-personalized offers and experiences for some of the world’s largest brands.

This role will focus on the creation of compelling, informative content to help capture the interest of our prospects and customers and to position Formation as a thought leader in the space. In addition, this role will assist in the development of sales enablement material. We are seeking a skilled communicator who is able to break down complex concepts and technology into easy to digest copy.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with sales, product management, engineering, and design teams to ensure effective communication of the Formation story.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate complex technology concepts (machine learning, big data, etc.) and market vision into clear and compelling ideas
  • Drive the copy of thought leadership content and assets including whitepapers, blogs, and other materials
  • Deliver multiple projects, while ensuring that quality is never compromised
  • Work closely with product, sales, and business development teams to execute communications and collateral that reflects Formation’s brand and value
  • Write, edit, proofread, and fact-check copy for brand consistency, clarity, and accuracy
  • Communicate effectively with Fortune 500 C-suite stakeholders

Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of in-house or agency copywriting experience, 8+ years of work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience with B2B SaaS marketing or marketing technology
  • Familiarity with marketing to large B2C enterprises
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with storyboarding and narrative storytelling
  • Ability to work seamlessly with technical team and perform well under pressure
  • Quality-consciousness and exceptional attention to detail
  • High sense of urgency while demonstrating resourcefulness, productivity, and efficiency
