Lead Product Manager, Machine Learning

Formation is seeking a Lead Product Manager for Machine Learning to drive the strategy, execution and alignment of our software and organization. As a leader on Formation's Product Management team, you will define problem spaces and solutions, demonstrate prioritization mastery, and communicate with all internal teams and Fortune 500 clients. You will partner with Engineering, Data Science, Design, Customer Success, and Business Operations to ensure the success of the team's product goals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with engineers and data scientists to build end to end machine learning pipelines, including training data preparation, model training, hyperparameter optimization, model serving, versioning, and monitoring
  • Support proof-of-concept teams in building and operationalizing machine learning enabled marketing solutions for the world’s largest consumer brands
  • Own Formation’s machine learning roadmap and product development from ideation through go-to-market
  • Generalize and iteratively improve the sophistication of Formation’s machine learning models to solve a variety of personalization and optimization objectives
  • Be the Machine Learning thought leader on the Product Team. Educate colleagues and executives on various Machine Learning approaches through presentations, literature review, user research, market analysis and product results

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in product management
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Machine Learning algorithms and techniques in a technical capacity - preferably as a data scientist or a machine learning engineer
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to persuade, influence, and build internal momentum for critical initiatives
  • Consistent track record for solving critical problems on large scale enterprise products with the ability to navigate technical tradeoffs in application and platform development.
  • Prior experience with agile development methodologies
