Head of Product

Formation is seeking a Head of Product Management to drive development and alignment of our product and services vision and roadmap. We’re looking for an experienced Product Management leader to advance our fast-growing personalized marketing solution that sits at the intersection of retention marketing, mobile apps, digital marketing channels, web-scale data and machine learning.

As the head of Formation's Product Management team, you will lead the evolution of our product vision, strategy, roadmap across all of Formation’s products. In this role, you'll inspire, empower and develop a team of high-performing product managers to plan and execute strategic roadmaps, creating delightful products and achieving company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the Formation product vision and roadmap that will grow our revenue streams across existing and prospective verticals and expansion areas
  • Lead a team of experienced product managers in the development of shared roadmap priorities and a collaborative approach to delivery
  • Lead a cross-functional matrix of stakeholders for effective product decision making across Engineering, Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, Design and Marketing
  • Collaborate with Marketing on product positioning, packaging and pricing, competitive landscape, core customer problems and manage product launch processes
  • Educate and align internal and external teams on current and future product vision, roadmap, strategy and how it has been driven by core customer problems, customer value, business value and customer validation
  • Drive analysis of existing and future market and technology trends around personalized enterprise marketing, including how these trends will create opportunities for Formation
  • Drive engagement with customers and external facing stakeholders to understand and analyze customer and partner needs across a highly competitive and evolving landscape.
  • Build a culture of trust, growth, innovation, and customer focus. Hire, retain and groom the next generation of product management leaders on your team.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in product management and software development with demonstrated career advancement. Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior product management leadership role
  • Ability to build and develop durable relationships across product teams, Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Design and Customer Success
  • Consistent track record for solving critical problems on large scale enterprise products with the ability to navigate technical tradeoffs in application and platform development
  • Experience designing products as they relate to digital customer experiences
  • Demonstrated ability to attract, lead, motivate, and retain experienced Product Managers
  • Ability to apply creative approaches to strategic product decisions
  • Experience developing enterprise SAAS products that connect to other Mar-tech systems, specifically developing APIs and interfaces to other Mar-tech products
  • Experience with marketing, measurement, consumer interactions and behavioral design a plus
  • Have experience at both early stage startups and global enterprise organizations.
  • Crisp and effective executive communication skills, including significant experience presenting cross-functionally and across all levels
  • Experienced product evangelist with ability to speak at conferences and public events.
  • Technical background in computer science or related engineering field
