Customer Insights Analyst

Formation is seeking a Customer Insights Analyst to develop data-driven insights that will better enable our customers to leverage the Formation product to achieve business value. The core function will be to design and develop analytics to translate into business results. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to enterprise companies and provide guidance on customer relationship marketing strategy, consumer insights, and segmentation strategies and the like
  • Create and execute incisive marketing analysis processes used to drive customer decisions and increase incremental, attributable revenue
  • Work closely with the Customer Success team to understand customer business goals/ways of working and identify areas of opportunity to better leverage Formation to achieve these goals
  • Work with internal teams to develop cross-customer insights and guide evolution of the Formation product and business development opportunities

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven approach to problem-solving
  • Experience in digital marketing, CRM and mobile (UX, marketing, etc.) with a focus on results-driven optimization
  • Proven skills in data analysis using Tableau, SQL and/or Redshift
  • Experience within or working closely with a Marketing organization

Bonus Points:

  • You have experience with business strategy, machine learning and CRM tools (, Adobe Marketing Cloud, etc.)
  • You possess deep knowledge of customer experience design and/or behavioral data science
  • You court perfection but are grounded and practical
  • You're interested in improving humanity's relationship with technology
